Earlier today, I posted a Chevy Equinox in honor of today’s solar event. !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! pointed out that GM made both the Equinox and the Solstice, and said that more cars needed to be named after celestial phenomena.
So, with that in mind, what other cars, trucks or things that go have been named after celestial/solar/planetary phenomena? I’ll get the ball rolling with this Nova.

Also, the name “subaru” refers to the Pleiades star cluster.

Here’s one that’s closely related to your Nova, which most people have forgotten. The 60's and 70s were full of references to the heavens (and rockets).

How about the Ford Galaxy?
It was available with the famous 2.5 litre Turbo inline 5 from Volvos and the Focus ST from a few years ago.

You say Ford Galaxy, and I immediately picture this, which is actually a Ford Galaxie. Yeah, I’m old.

They also sold a front wheel drive car called the FF-1 that was renamed Star in the US in the 1970’s. He commercials said “take a ride in a Star, it’s out of this world!”
